These are genuine issue British Army Desert DPM Windproof Smocks - the current British replacement camo (MTP) smocks are based directly off these albeit with a few differences.

Two large chest pockets and two front waist pockets which are all buttoned and expandable. There are also two zipped map pockets which open between the zipper and chest pockets. Each map pocket has three dividers for pens/pencils. The cuffs are fully adjustable withhook & loop. The front zipper is full length and covered by ahook & loopflap/baffle to make it completely windproof.

The hood is large with an internal loop and wire frame so you can shape the hood to not interfere in windy conditions. There are draw cords at the neck to close the hood, internally at the waist and the base to ensure you can adjust for maximum comfort and protection from the elements. The fabric is very tightly woven polycotton with a water repellent treatment, which of course will wear out with time. It can be revitalized with suitable solutions.
